Paul McCartney has confirmed a concert at Safeco Field in Seattle, Washington on Friday, July 19th, 2013. For a while, it looked as if McCartney was going to perform at Key Arena in Seattle in May but it turns out that he is willing to perform at Safeco Field instead, the home of the Seattle Mariners MLB baseball team.
This is McCartney’s 7th US date released for this summer (Tulsa, Boston, Orlando, Memphis, Washington DC and Austin are the others). Paul McCartney has also added a date in Quebec City, Quebec in Canada. As of now, the US dates are split into two legs. Leg one is arenas and will be in May (after some South American tour dates). The second leg of the “Out There” tour in the US will be starting in July and will be stadium venues and will come after a short stint in Europe.
