The Bank of Oklahoma Center is the newest venue to be awarded a Paul McCartney concert. As of 9:30 AM CST, the announcement became official and the local stations in Tulsa broke the news to the general public. The concert is scheduled for May 29th, 2013 at the BOK Center.
The announcement came shortly after the concert in Las Cruces, New Mexico was shot down. It is not confirmed that there is a correlation between the confirmation of one event after the other was shot down. The concert comes as part of McCartney’s 2013, Out There Tour which has 3 dates in the US, a few dates in Brazil and several confirmed dates in the USA and Canada with more to come.
The concerts are being slowly leaked and confirmed which is making fans decide to gamble and buy tickets for far away concerts and travel or wait and hope for a closer, local concert. The message board on PaulMcCartney.com has fans discussing their displeasure with the method in which concerts are being “confirmed”.
